Reminders

Minimal Waste

Princes Hill Primary School is continuing to reduce waste at school. We are trying to instil waste wise practices with minimal waste in mind, while teaching students about recycling, composting and landfill. It would be great if these practices could be also shown to students at home so that better waste disposal practices are achieved. This term, the Grade 1 Neighbourhood is responsible for Bin & Bucket Duty. If any parent is available of Friday afternoons at 3 pm to assist with this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Tissues

We will be collecting boxes of tissues for classroom use throughout the year. Can families please donate a box to avoid short supplies in the winter months?

Home Reading

Grade 1 students commenced Home Reading program recently. Please remember to change books in the morning before school placing them in the correct Book Boxes. Inside the Plastic Home reading Folder is a notice which also contains a Reading Log to record dates, book titles and any comments about the book. These logs will be replaced with Readers'/Writers' Notebooks later in the term. If you require additonal logs in between time, please see your home group teachers

Parent Helpers

Timetables have been placed outside our Grade 1 Neighbour for Parent Helpers. Please fill in if you are able to assist.
